I have been practising as a counsellor and psychotherapist for over a decade in both the charity sector as well as the corporate world and have built up a thriving private practice working with individuals, couples and groups of all ages in South Devon. I have also been supervising counsellors and other professionals since 2011 and alongside this I manage The Dartmoor Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy affordable counselling agency in Newton Abbot. In addition, I write and deliver courses and workshops with my wife for counsellors in and around the south west. I teach various Certificate and Diploma courses at Devon Counselling College.

I began my journey into counselling in order to help a close friend and quickly found myself working through my own issues, issues that I had never really admitted (and in many cases never realised) I had. I continue this journey of self-discovery and personal growth, hopefully working towards achieving my full potential as a human-being.

I am also a beekeeper, something I am passionate about, I am the web admin of my local branch of the BBKA, Torbay Beekeepers' Association. I have several apiaries around South Devon and sell local honey and hive products at various fetes, fairs and events under the name Laura's Grove Honey & Hive Products.

I am a keen hobby photographer and love to take abstract photos, promotional portraits and photos of pets. I'll get time at some point to put some photos up somewhere...
